BISSELL ProHeat Upright Deep Cleaner Reviews

The Bissell ProHeat Upright Deep Cleaner removes deeply-embedded dust and dirt from carpets by utilizing heat, brushes and a liquid cleaning solution. Regular tap water is heated to a temperature of up to 25 degrees hotter by a built-in heater, thus allowing for better cleaning. In addition, this model of Bissell offers a “no-heat” option in case you’re cleaning softly-made rugs or carpets (such as an Oriental rug or carpets made from wool material).

Settings & Features

The Bissell ProHeat offers a variety of settings for all types of cleaning, making it a versatile cleaning machine. The featured range of settings include “Light Clean”, “Normal”, “Heavy Traffic” and “Rinse” – and are thus based upon the level of cleaning demanded. The appropriate amount of cleaning solution will automatically be mixed for you, based on the setting level you have selected.

The Bissell ProHeat also features two “Dirt Lifter Power Brush” rolls, each with bristles designed to both remove deep-down dirt while also cleaning your carpet. These brushes are great for stimulating the carpet fibers enough to remove the embedded caked-on dirt. In addition, the machine features a “Clean Shot” option. With this option, a stream of concentrated cleaning solution is released. By spraying the “Clean Shot” followed by suction, the stain is easily removed. The machine also features a one-gallon tank which is capable of separating clean and dirty (used) water, along with “Microban” anti-microbial protection. With the Bissell ProHeat, you can choose your cleaning option at either “floor cleaning” or “above-floor cleaning” with only the flick of a switch.

The cleaning path of the Bissel ProHeat is 12 inches wide featuring suction action from edge-to-edge, sweeping brushes along the edges, a 9-foot hose, gliding rolling wheels, carry handle and a 30-foot power cord. It also includes a “Flow Gauge” which constantly checks the level of water and liquid cleaning solution. The Bissell ProHeat includes both a bottle of fiber cleansing solution as well as an allergen fiber cleansing solution (16 ounces).

The Bissell ProHeat also includes several accessory tools. The instruments include a tool for tough stains (3 inches), an upholstery brush (4 inches), a stair tool (6 inches), mesh bag, a tool for spraying cracks and crevices, and a “Turbo Brush”. The Bissell ProHeat is a 12 amp machine, has dimensions of approximately 19 x 13 x 44 inches, and it has a limited warranty of one year.
